For You is Prince's debut album, released in 1978 on Warner Bros. Records. Recorded at Record Plant in Sausalito and mastered at A&M by Bernie Grundman, it features Prince performing and arranging all instruments himself. This is a 1983 US reissue on BSK 3150. Lead single Soft And Wet reached the R&B top ten, and Just As Long As We're Together showcases his early funk arrangements.
