Piano & A Microphone 1983 is a solo home studio recording by Prince, captured at his Kiowa Trail studio in Chanhassen, MN in 1983 and released posthumously in 2018 via the Prince Estate, NPG Records, and Warner Bros. This limited deluxe box set pairs a 180g LP with CD and includes a 12-page booklet featuring handwritten lyrics and photos by Allen Beaulieu. The session includes an early "Purple Rain" and a cover of Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You."
