Written and produced by Prince at 19, with Tommy Vicari as executive producer, it reached No. 12 on the Billboard R&B chart. The B-side "So Blue" showcases an early ballad side. This is a US original pressing (WBS 8619), identified as the Los Angeles pressing by track durations printed next to the title in the runout.
