Sālongo is a 1976 soul-jazz and jazz-funk album by Ramsey Lewis, released on Columbia (PC 34173). Produced by Charles Stepney and Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire, it reflects the Afro-funk direction Lewis explored through the mid-70s. This US pressing is from the Columbia Santa Maria plant, identifiable by S1/S2 in the runouts. Highlights include the title track and the extended groove of Brazilica.
