Slow Starter is a 1988 soul single by Randy Hall on MCA Records, drawn from his album of the same year. The 12" delivers five versions including an extended dance mix and dub, co-produced by Attala Zane Giles alongside Hall, with Ray Parker Jr. and Louil Silas Jr. serving as executive producers. Parker Jr.'s involvement brings a polished late-80s R&B production sensibility throughout.
