Recorded across two sessions at Apostolic Studio in March 1969 and released on Adelphi in 1973, O, Glory captures Rev. Gary Davis in his element -- fingerpicked gospel blues, spiritual vocals, and the raw slide and ragtime guitar work he developed on the East Coast. All nine tracks are Davis originals, including the extended title cut and "Birmingham Special."
