Robert Johnson recorded 29 songs across two sessions in San Antonio (1936) and Dallas (1937) before his death in 1938. Originally released by Columbia in 1961, this 1998 Legacy remaster adds an alternate take of Traveling Riverside Blues not on the original LP. Cross Road Blues, Terraplane Blues, and Hell Hound On My Trail were all covered by acts including Cream, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin.
