The Inflated Tear is a 1968 studio album by Roland Kirk, released on Atlantic. This early 70s US reissue on Atlantic's orange/green label -- with 1841 Broadway address and Audiodisk lacquers -- captures Kirk at his most personal, drawing on blues, Duke Ellington's "The Creole Love Call", and originals including the grief-driven "A Laugh For Rory", written for Rory McEwen.
