Solid Ground is a 1981 Liberty Records reissue of Ronnie Laws' 1976 Blue Note album, originally produced by Wayne Henderson. Laws, a Texas-born saxophonist and brother of flautist Hubert Laws, built his name on jazz-funk and smooth soul. This Liberty pressing (LN-10307) brings the full album back in budget reissue form, featuring the groove-heavy title track and "Heavy On Easy."
