Solid Ground is the fifth studio album by Texas saxophonist Ronnie Laws, originally released on United Artists in 1976. This is a US Liberty Records reissue (catalogue LN-10307), a budget repress from the early 1980s. Laws blends jazz-funk saxophone with disco-influenced arrangements across tracks including the title cut and "Heavy On Easy", with string arrangements by Frank Kavelin.
