Roy Eldridge -- trumpeter and one of the key transitional figures between swing and bebop -- recorded this four-track EP with his Little Jazz ensemble in the early 1950s. Released on Vogue in 1955, EPV 1019 is a UK pressing featuring "This Man I Love", "Easter Parade", "I Remember Harlem", and "Wild Driver". A compact and direct showcase of Eldridge's hard-swinging small group style.
