Product Review:
From the Maxi Jazz Collection. BPM stickers on sleeve. Salt 'N' Pepa's 1986 Next Plateau debut - one of hip-hop's first great female records.

Debut album from Salt-N-Pepa, released 1986 on Next Plateau Records. Produced by Hurby "Luv Bug" Azor, it features "Tramp" and "The Showstopper" -- both early responses to male-dominated rap -- alongside "I'll Take Your Man." This original US pressing predates the retitled reissue *Hot, Cool & Vicious*, under which the album broke wider following the success of the added single "Push It."

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
