San Remo Golden Strings were a Detroit orchestral soul outfit on Ed Wingate's Ric-Tic label, later absorbed into Motown. "Festival Time" first appeared on Ric-Tic in 1966; this is its first UK issue, on Tamla Motown TMG 795 from 1971. The B-side "All Turned On" was originally credited to Bob Wilson And The San Remo Quartet. Laura Lee later recorded a vocal version of the A-side as "To Win Your Heart."
