Super Ape is a 1976 roots dub album by Lee "Scratch" Perry and The Upsetters, recorded at Perry's Black Ark studio in Kingston. Released here on Island/Mango CD reissue, it collects ten instrumentals including "Zion's Blood", "Dread Lion", and the title track -- all produced and written by Perry at the peak of his Black Ark period.
