UK original from 1956. EX/EX! Record has a single superficial hairline that does not affect play. Otherwise glossy, as new. Sleeve is beautiful.

Blue Serge is the debut album by Boston baritone saxophonist Serge Chaloff, recorded and released in 1956 on Capitol Records. This is an original UK pressing on Capitol (T 742), manufactured by EMI. Chaloff leads a quartet through standards including "All The Things You Are" and "A Handful Of Stars", alongside his own "Susie's Blues". Chaloff died of spinal cancer the following year, making this his sole studio album as leader.
