Manic & Cool is the ninth studio album by Shakatak, released in 1988 on Polydor. Produced by Nigel Wright, it blends the jazz-funk and synth-pop sounds the band built through the early 1980s. This is a West German pressing by PDO for PolyGram. Highlights include the title track "Mr. Manic & Sister Cool" and the extended B-side opener "Walk The Walk" at over six minutes.
