Shalamar's "I Can Make You Feel Good" was lifted from their 1982 album Friends, produced by Leon Sylvers III for the Solar label. This UK 12" single pairs the boogie-funk A-side with two B-side cuts, "Friends" and "Help Me", both full-length. Dick Griffey handled executive production. The track reached the UK Top 10 and remains one of the group's most recognisable recordings.
