Shalamar's "I Owe You One", a 12" single from 1979 on Solar Records, produced and written by Leon Sylvers III. Drawn from their album Big Fun, the track is a driving disco-funk cut featuring the trio of Howard Hewett, Jody Watley, and Jeffrey Daniel. B-side "The Right Time For Us" also appears on the album. Solar was the Dick Griffey and Don Cornelius-founded LA soul imprint.
