Shalamar's "There It Is" lifted from their 1982 LP Friends, produced by Leon Sylvers III for Dick Griffey's Solar Records. This UK 12" single runs an extended version of the boogie-funk cut on the A-side, backed with "I Don't Wanna Be The Last To Know." Sylvers' crisp, rhythm-machine production defined the Solar house sound of the early 80s.
