Released in 1959 on Contemporary Records (LAC 12193), this is a UK first pressing of Shelly Manne's hard bop reading of Henry Mancini's Peter Gunn TV score. Mancini composed and arranged all ten tracks; Lester Koenig produced. Standouts include Dreamsville and the theme itself. Advertised in Gramophone, July 1959 -- a contemporaneous UK release, not a later reissue.
