Shirley's Sounds is a 1961 solo organ LP by Shirley Scott, recorded for Prestige and engineered by Rudy Van Gelder. This original US pressing carries deep groove labels with the Bergenfield, NJ address and an RVG stamp in the dead wax. Scott works through standards including "Summertime" and "Bye Bye Blackbird", showcasing the Hammond-led soul-jazz style she developed alongside Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis.
