Sidney Bechet recorded extensively in Paris from 1949, finding in France the recognition that had often eluded him in the US. These four tracks, cut with Claude Luter's New Orleans-styled orchestra, include "Wolverine Blues" and "Struttin' With Some Barbecue" -- standards associated with Jelly Roll Morton and Louis Armstrong respectively. A UK Vogue EP pressing on 45 RPM 7".
