Brooklyn funk and disco group Skyy released "First Time Around" as a 12" single on Salsoul in 1979, produced and arranged by Randy Muller, also known for his work with Brass Construction. The A-side runs nearly seven minutes and became a dancefloor staple of the era. This is the UK Salsoul pressing on 12 SSOL 119, backed with "Disco Dancin'".
