From a beautifully preserved collection. Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Slide Hampton's octet session for Atlantic, pressed here as a French "Super 45 Tours" EP from 1961. Hampton, a trombonist and arranger who worked alongside Maynard Ferguson and Lionel Hampton, led this hard bop-leaning group through two extended cuts -- the title track runs over six minutes, with "Asseveration" close behind. A French original pressing of a US Atlantic date.
