Slim Harpo recorded for Excello Records out of Baton Rouge throughout the late 1950s and 60s, his swamp blues sound built on sparse harmonica and slow-rolling rhythms. This 1989 Flyright CD compiles 21 tracks including "I'm A King Bee" -- later covered by the Rolling Stones -- and "I Got Love If You Want It", covered by the Kinks.
