Slum Village's "Players" 12", released in 2000 on Detroit's Good Vibe Recordings, comes from the period surrounding their landmark LP Fantastic Vol. 2. Produced by J Dilla, "Players" samples Zapp's "Doo Wa Ditty (Blow That Thing)", while the B-side "Raise It Up" features a vocal from Dwele. Both sides showcase Dilla's signature Detroit bounce alongside rhymes from T3 and Baatin.
