Dance To The Music is the debut album by Sly & The Family Stone, released in 1968 on Epic in the US. This is the original UK pressing on Direction Records in mono, catalogue 8-63412 -- Direction was CBS's UK imprint for soul and R&B. The title track reached the US top ten and introduced the band's cross-genre mix of funk, soul, and rock. Features the 12-minute "Dance To The Medley" suite across side one.
