Two of Smokey Robinson's most celebrated compositions on one 7". "Tears of a Clown" was originally released in 1967 but became a global hit when issued as a single in 1970, reaching number one in both the UK and US. "Tracks of My Tears" dates from 1965. This 1976 UK Tamla Motown reissue pairs both tracks on catalogue number TMG 1048.
