Product Review:
UK Original in top shape. 2 spots of edgewear but sleeve is EX!

Father of Folk Blues is Son House's 1965 Columbia debut, recorded by producer John Hammond after Alan Lomax's Library of Congress sessions helped revive interest in House's work. This is the original 1966 UK CBS pressing (BPG 62604), mono. Death Letter and Preachin' Blues are the standout cuts -- raw Delta blues recorded when House was in his sixties, drawing on material he'd first cut in the 1930s.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
