Son House recorded these sessions for Alan Lomax and the Library of Congress across two Mississippi locations -- Lake Cormorant in 1941 and Robinsonville in 1942. Released on Folklyric Records (catalogue 9002) and compiled by Evelyn Parth, this LP collects 14 tracks in sequence, including Walking Blues and Pony Blues, both later covered by Robert Johnson disciples across generations of electric blues.
