Sonny Boy Williamson II -- the Arkansas-born harmonica player born Aleck Ford -- recorded for Chess Records through the 1950s and 60s, becoming one of the defining voices in post-war Chicago blues. This is a Storyville LP compilation (catalogue SLP 158), a Danish label known for licensing Chess and related material for European release. Includes "The Sky Is Crying" and "Gettin' Together."
