Sonny Criss's Rockin' In Rhythm was recorded in New York City on July 2, 1968 and released on Prestige. This 1999 Original Jazz Classics remaster adds a bonus track recorded at Van Gelder Studio in 1967. The session features hard bop readings of standards including "All The Things You Are" and "Misty Roses", plus a notably soulful take on the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby". Produced by Don Schlitten.
