Opened but unplayed.

Sonny Rollins' score for the 1966 Michael Caine film Alfie, recorded January 26, 1966 and originally released on Impulse!. Nelson arranged and conducted, with Bob Thiele producing. This 2016 reissue is licensed via Universal/De Agostini. The opener "Alfie's Theme" runs nearly ten minutes in Rollins' hands -- a hard bop expansion of what most know as a pop standard.
