Product Review:
Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee At Sugar Hill more classic harmonica and guitar interplay from this legendary pairing.
Recorded in San Francisco in December 1961, At Sugar Hill captures Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee in an intimate acoustic session for the Folkways label. This is the 1991 Fantasy/Original Blues Classics reissue, digitally remastered and pressed in Germany. Highlights include "Born To Live The Blues" and the slow-burning "Worry, Worry, Worry" -- both showcasing Terry's harp and McGhee's guitar at their most direct.
