Product Review:
Sonny Terry's Chain Gang Blues — raw, expressive harmonica blues from a Piedmont legend.

Sonny Terry was a Piedmont blues harmonica player whose recordings from the 1940s--60s defined the East Coast blues sound. This 1990 Canadian Collectables compilation draws from his earlier catalogue, featuring chain gang work songs and field holler-influenced pieces including "Lost John" and "Pick A Bale Of Cotton." Terry's distinctive whooping vocal style sits alongside his harmonica throughout.

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
