Sweet Rain is a 1967 studio album by Stan Getz, recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's studio in Englewood Cliffs and produced by Creed Taylor for Verve Records. The mono original pressing features Chick Corea's debut on record, alongside Ron Carter and Grady Tate. Highlights include the nine-minute opener "Litha" and Dizzy Gillespie's "Con Alma." The etched runout with Van Gelder stamp confirms an original US pressing.
