Stargard were a Los Angeles vocal trio best known for their work on the Thank God It's Friday soundtrack and their association with Rick James. This 1978 UK 12" on MCA pairs the US Discomix of What You Waitin' For -- a funk-driven disco cut produced and arranged by Mark Davis -- with Smile on the flip. Released as a limited edition MCA Disco pressing.
