Stephan Micus is a German multi-instrumentalist who composes and performs solo, layering instruments from across Asia, Africa, and Europe. The Garden Of Mirrors, released on ECM in 1997, was recorded at MCM Studios across 1995--96. The nine-part suite moves through acoustic textures built from instruments including the nyckelharpa, shakuhachi, and sinding. Catalogue number ECM 1632.
