1973 reissue in great condition. Disc has light signs of play. Sleeve has edgewear and ringwear.

The Magic City is a Sun Ra Arkestra recording, originally self-released on El Saturn in 1966 and reissued here on Impulse!/ABC in 1973. The recording date is disputed -- the sleeve states 1960, though 1965 is more widely cited. The 27-minute title track dominates the A-side with free improvisation across the full ensemble, supported by three shorter pieces on the flip.
