Product Review:
Super copy!

Yazoo compilation drawing on Tampa Red's recordings from 1928 to 1937, including an unissued 1928 take of "Black Eye Blues." Tampa Red -- Hudson Woodbridge -- was among the first Chicago blues guitarists to record extensively, and his bottleneck style shaped the genre's early commercial sound. Yazoo's peacock label pressing sourced from rare originals makes this a strong reissue of pre-war blues.
