Edge wear; split seam; ring wear to sleeve. Tarika Blue's The Blue Path on Cadet from 1977 -- jazz-funk with strong spiritual jazz influences. Tarika Blue's records are sought after by diggers working the late-70s jazz-funk crossover.

Tarika Blue is a New York jazz-fusion collective led by flautist Chico Freeman, who released The Blue Path in 1976 on Chiaroscuro Records. The album blends spiritual jazz with funk-inflected grooves, featuring Freeman alongside a rotating ensemble. "Sunshower" was later sampled by A Tribe Called Quest on "Bonita Applebum." This is an original US pressing on Chiaroscuro (CR 141), produced by Hank O'Neal.
