Waves is a 1978 album by Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdal, recorded at Talent Studio, Oslo and released on ECM 1110. Produced by Manfred Eicher, it features Rypdal's electric guitar over long-form compositions blending rock textures with open jazz structure. This is an original West German pressing. "The Dain Curse" and the title track are among the standout cuts.
