Recorded at Van Gelder Studio in May 1958 and originally issued as Blue Note BLP 1598, this is Powell's piano trio session featuring Paul Chambers and Art Taylor. This 1999 reissue was transferred from analogue at 24-bit resolution under Michael Cuscuna. Includes two alternate takes of Sub City and John's Abbey alongside the original eight cuts.
