The Truth is a solo acoustic album by Prince, originally released in 1998 as part of the Crystal Ball box set on NPG Records. Spare and stripped back, it features Prince alone with guitar across twelve tracks, including Animal Kingdom and Welcome 2 The Dawn. This is the 2023 European reissue on Legacy/NPG Records via the Prince Estate, correcting liner note credits that appeared on the 2021 pressing.
