Debut album from Birmingham's The Beat, released 1980 on Go-Feet/Arista. This is a Netherlands pressing on Ariola Benelux. Produced by Bob Sargeant, it includes their cover of Smokey Robinson's "Tears Of A Clown" and Andy Williams' "Can't Get Used To Losing You." "Mirror In The Bathroom" and "Stand Down Margaret" were UK hits. Ranking Roger and Saxa feature throughout alongside Dave Wakeling's lead vocals.
