Live at Balboa Jazz Club Vol. 2 captures Bill Evans, bassist Marc Johnson, and drummer Joe LaBarbera at the Balboa Jazz Club in Madrid, December 1979 -- one of Evans' final touring years before his death in 1980. Originally issued on Ivory Records, this 1991 Swiss CD reissue on Jazz Lab runs 45 minutes across five tracks, anchored by a 17-minute reading of Miles Davis's "Nardis," a tune Evans made his own.
