Bobby Timmons was a hard bop pianist known for gospel-inflected playing, a style well represented on In Person, recorded live at the Village Vanguard in 1961. This is a 1962 US Seeburg jukebox release -- a 7" 33⅓ RPM Little LP pulling two tracks from the full Riverside album: "So Tired" and "Popsy."
