From a beautifully preserved collection. Slight age discolouration to the rear sleeve. A majority of records in this collection are in EX to NM condition. We have graded them conservatively here.

Recorded in New York across two October and November 1947 sessions, this EP captures the Charlie Parker Quintet at the height of bebop. Tracks include "Scrapple From The Apple" and "Embraceable You." Released on the Swedish Barben Records label (BEP 41), this is an early continental pressing of material that defined the genre. A rare 7" EP format for Parker.
