Smokin' With The Chet Baker Quintet was recorded for Prestige Records and originally released in 1965 (catalogue PR 7449), featuring Baker alongside a tight hard bop lineup. This is the 1967 UK Transatlantic pressing. The set includes "Have You Met Miss Jones?" and "Fine & Dandy", with production by Richard Carpenter. Baker's cool tone sits across six extended cuts running well over six minutes each.
