The Counts were a Detroit funk and soul group who recorded for Westbound in the early 1970s. This album -- their debut -- appeared in 1972, produced and arranged by the band themselves. This is a 1994 UK CD reissue on Westbound's Sequel-distributed catalogue series. The title track runs over seven minutes and is among the most-sampled cuts from the Westbound vaults.
